Ste. Odile Elementary Trees

Site: Cartierville, Montreal, QC

Collaborators: Véronique Chagnon Côté | Infravert | Ste. Odile Elementary School | Quebec Ministry of Culture & Communications

A series of colorful trees lines the exterior walls of an elementary school, a collaboration between the artist and the students of École Ste. Odile in Cartierville, Montreal. Using the children’s drawings as inspiration, the artist reimagined the image of the tree to create this playful installation.

Cut-to-shape ALTO™ Aluminum was sublimated with the digital images prepared by the artist. It’s a unique style of mural that brings vitality to the space, while also reminding students that their imagination and creativity brought it to life.
