Collaborators: City of Winnipeg | Anikó Szabó | Royal Canadian Air Force | Slaughter Family

Installed in 2019 to celebrate the refurbishment of the T-33 Red Knight, this bright and colorful panel designed by Anikó Szabó sits directly in front of the aircraft to explain the importance of the monument and its legendary pilot.

Seen as a whole, the plane and panel work together to create an open-air exhibit that honors the history of the many people and organizations behind the aircraft. The mix of text, archival photographs and graphics creates an engaging and informative panel about the plane, the Red Knights and pilot Bill Slaughter. Printing on ALTO™ Aluminum ensured the text and graphics are crisp and legible.
