In “Sky Leaves”, an intricate arrangement of large-scale leaves graces a façade as if blown upwards by the wind. By incorporating natural shapes and imagery onto each leaf, the artist strives to create a poetic sense of time and place. Presented at two locations, this site on the North Tower shows leaves from some of the oldest known specimens, with each leaf revealing images of the sky and landscape where the tree is located. Each leaf was intricately cut, sublimated, and gently curved to create a natural look that honors the leaves and the trees that inspired the artist.
